Three Canadians -- two from British Columbia and one from
Ontario -- have been charged after police seized nearly $9 million
worth of drugs, guns and an airplane from an area north of
Toronto.
Says Interpretation Of Known Icing In June 2006 Letter "Could
Be Misconstrued"
In response to concerns raised last year by the Aircraft Owners
and Pilots Association -- regarding an eyebrow-raising definition
of "known icing conditions" in updated FAA policy documents --
recently the agency submitted a revised draft of its proposed
language, and invited pilots and others concerned with the proposed
rule to comment.

Rebuking charges by FAA Administrator Marion Blakey that it's
time for general aviation to pay a higher price for use of ATC
services, on Wednesday Cessna Aircraft Company Chairman, President
and Chief Executive Officer Jack J. Pelton told attendees of an
aviation summit at the US Chamber of Commerce the general aviation
(GA) industry in the United States is too fragile and too important
to the nation to allow experimentation on air traffic management
funding options... such as the one proposed by the Federal Aviation
Administration.
Says Chief Refuses To Accept Responsibility For 2005 Fatal
Crash
Australia's aviation watchdog chief should be fired in the
aftermath of one of Australia's worst air disasters, the Federal
Opposition says. As Aero-News reported, 15
people died when a TransAir Metroliner III crashed into
Queensland's Lockhart River in May 2005. It was Australia's worst
air disaster in 40 years.
Skimming... water skiing... or aqua-planing -- with a real, live
