It's going to cost more money to certify aviation products under
EASA jurisdiction. The European Aviation Safety Agency has
published a schedule of fees for its certification activities, to
start 1 June 2005.
Aspen Avionics announced a $1000 discount on their AT300 Hazard
Display on Wednesday. It provides TAWS-like terrain and moving map
capabilities to general aviation pilots for special pricing of
$2495 through the end of April.
