The FAA awarded Harris Corporation a 54 month, $57 million
follow-on contract for the Weather and Radar Processor (WARP)
program on Tuesday. Harris will bring in $188 million total by 2009
with this program.
The FAA refused to approve a proposed airport in Park City
stating that instrument landings at the proposed airport would
interfere with traffic at surrounding airports.
The eighth annual Mustangs and Mustangs Car and Vintage Airplane
Show ends Sunday at Fantasy of Flight in Polk City, FL. More than
270 cars are on display along with P-51 Mustang Fighters.
