Signs of progress? Cessna's new TTx completed its first production flight on Saturday, March 2. The single engine composite aircraft departed from the Cessna facility in Independence, KS, and performed the flight in and around southeast Kansas. As we previously reported Beechcraft has, without much surprise, formally protested to the U.S. Government Accountability Office (GAO) the USAF award of the Light Air Support contract to its Brazilian competitor, Embraer. New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg has hit a new low among those politicians who lately seem to have zeroed in on the biz jet industry as the root of all evil in the world and the cause of our nation's economic crisis.

New Diamond Flight Center Development Council Kicks Off East Coast Expansion

Council Also Recognizes Key Diamond Flight Centers For Outstanding Achievements In Flight Training Modernization

Following the inaugural meeting of the Diamond Flight Center Development Council, John Armstrong, President of Dominion Aircraft Sales, announced the expansion of the Diamond Flight Center (DFC) network in the eastern part of the United States. Dominion is the Diamond Regional Distribution Center serving that area.
