Early Reports Suggest Plane Was Fueled With Jet-A

A 2006 Cirrus SR22 G3 Turbo crashed Sunday morning moments after takeoff from Jacarepagua, on the west side of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The four persons onboard were killed when the aircraft, registry PR-IAO, impacted the upper floors of a condominium in an upscale neighborhood near Barra da Tijuca.

Passenger On Board The Landing Velocity Loses Life

The tragic and shocking landing collision that took place at a monthly EAA Pancake Breakfast has now claimed a third life. Killed on Saturday aboard a taxiiing RV-8 were two men, ID'd by a friend to local media, as Bill Hess and Phil Schacht, both reportedly retired airline pilots who lived at Spruce Creek Fly-In.
