Texas GA Caucus Holds Inaugural Meeting

State Has Over 350 Public Use Airports, Only 26 Serve Airlines

State Representative John Kuempel (R-Seguin) chaired the first meeting of the Texas General Aviation Caucus at the State Capitol in Austin this week. “This is an opportunity to provide members of the Texas legislature information on the importance of general aviation in their local communities. General Aviation provides over $15 billion in economic impacts to Texas and over 56,000 jobs – its an industry we need to protect and expand.”

NTSB Releases Preliminary Report From Delaware Accident

One Person Fatally Injured When PA-28 Went Down After Declaring An Emergency

The NTSB's preliminary report for an accident which occurred near Dover, DE on January 13th indicates the pilot was experiencing a fuel problem before the PA-28R went down. The pilot, identified by television station WBOC as Dr. Clifford H. Turen, an orthopedic surgeon at Bayhealth medical center in Dover, reportedly had attempted multiple landings at different airports before declaring an emergency.
