Manufacture of S-LSA and E-LSA kits now one step closer to
reality
The FAA has accepted the first industry-developed consensus
standards for light-sport aircraft. This brings the reality of
ready-to-fly special light-sport aircraft (S-LSA) and experimental
light-sport aircraft (E-LSA) kits one step closer.

The precision flight team at California's San Jose State
University has been abruptly grounded in what appears to be a
conflict over new insurance rules at the institution. While team
members continue to wrangle with the school administration, it
appears the team may have to miss at least the year's first
competition.
It promises to be an interesting weekend in Scottsdale, AZ, late
next month, as the Lancair Owners and Pilots Association stages a
fly-in at Scottsdale Airport.
The Fayette County Airport Authority (FCAA) in Lemont Furnace,
PA, says it will break ground on a new General Aviation Terminal at
Connellsville Airport next month.
