Students in the aviation maintenance program at Everett
Community College in Washington state have been given two donated
airplanes to practice on next year. The college's technician school
is located at Paine Field, but the donated planes didn't come from
Boeing.
Developing Communication Link To Facilitate Flight In The

NASA and Rockwell Collins have announced a collaboration that
could lead to the development of an unmanned aircraft system (UAS)
control and non-payload communications (CNPC) data link that will
eventually enable unmanned aircraft to safely operate in the
national airspace.
Raytheon System Designed To Increase Safety, Efficiency, And
Capacity
The U.S. Air Force has awarded a contract to Raytheon to
incorporate Automatic Dependent Surveillance – Broadcast
(ADS-B) capability into its suite of APX-119 Identification Friend
or Foe (IFF) transponders to support the FAA's NextGen plan for
transformation of the National Airspace System.
