President Selected For Rhode Island Chapter Of IMC Clubs

Victoria Kuo, Chief Flight Instructor For New Horizon Aviation, To Lead The Group

The Rhode Island Chapter of the IMC Clubs will be led by Victoria Kuo, the Chief Flight Instructor of the New Horizon Aviation in Providence. As a highly qualified volunteer Ms. Kuo was chosen to provide her expertise in flight education to the Club. Rhode Island Chapter meetings will take place every third Thursday at 6:30 PM, starting in January 2012, and will be held at the Horizon Aviation offices, at T.F. Green Airport in Providence, RI.

First OEM Application To Start Deliveries In Early 2012

GE Aviation says a celebration in Prague was held recently to commemorate the certification by EASA of the company's new turboprop engine, the H80. The powerplant is rated at 800 shaft horsepower and weighs 382 pounds. It has been undergoing testing on the Thrush 510G ag plane.
