Flight
On Saturday Jeff Edwards flew his new Evolution for the first
time.... Jeff and Shelby Edwards of Chesterfield, Missouri began
the construction of their PT6 powered Evolution kit with their two
week builder's assist program at the Lancair factory in May 2009
and then, assisted by Brian Harris (Composite Approach, Redmond,
OR) brought it to Saturday's first flight in only 8 months.
Says Congress Using Passenger Rights Provisions To Support A
$44 Billion Boondoggle
The advocacy group Our Airspace is calling for essential policy
changes it says are needed to protect passenger safety and flyers
rights to be raised immediately as stand alone legislation, not
"buried" in an FAA reauthorization bill.
Pilot Said He Experienced Problems With An Engine Mount
The pilot of a homebuilt blimp was forced to land on an
Interstate highway median just south of Ardmore, Oklahoma Tuesday,
but it is not clear if the pilot is licensed to fly the
