A plan to help the Nation meet the demands of a future aviation
system that someday could include air taxis, micro-jets and
commercial space vehicles, was unveiled today by Transportation
Secretary Norman Y. Mineta and officials from NASA and others, who
called it "a blueprint that will lead to the transformation of
America’s air transportation network."
The fact that the Lancair Columbia 400 is the fastest certified
piston powered aircraft in production today is common knowledge,
but high performance is about more than just posting a big number
like the Columbia 400’s 235 knot maximum cruise. The folks at

Plan of Reorganization Approved by Bankruptcy Court, Mooney
Airplane Company Stock to Be Reacquired
Mooney Aerospace Group, Ltd.'s Plan of Reorganization was
approved by the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware
Wednesday. A court order has been submitted to the judge for
signature. As of December 15, 2004 the company will have a new
trading symbol, MNYG.OB.
GAMA has given a solid thumbs-up to the just-released integrated
plan for the Next Generation Air Transportation System (NGATS) as
an essential milestone needed to avoid gridlock in the
