Under a new agreement, students who earn a two-year Associate of Science degree in Aviation Science from Santa Fe Community College (SFCC) may transfer all their credits to Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University to count as the first two years toward a four-year Bachelor of Science degree in Aeronautical Science.

Better Cranberries Through Aviation

Ocean Spray’s cranberry harvesting season drew to a close last month, made easier this year with the use of GeoVantage’s high-resolution aerial imagery. GeoVantage imaged cranberry bogs in two of Ocean Spray’s major growing areas in Massachusetts and Quebec. Ocean Spray has been implementing aerial photography since 1986.

Aero-News Alert: Low Ceilings/Viz Suspected Factors in First DA40 Fatal

The first Diamond DA40 (file photo, below) accident to involve fatalities occurred a few hours ago as N42SE, a Diamond DA40 registered to Accupad of Anderson, SC, went down in Pelzer SC, killing all three POB aboard, one of them a flight instructor. The accident reportedly occurred at 1013 local time with the first call into EMS reported at 1022.
