Sam Lyons' "Polished Perfection" To Be Exhibited

Aero-News has learned that "Polished Perfection," a stunning painting of a mirror-like Luscombe by well-known artist Sam Lyons, was selected for exhibition in the 13th Annual Horizons of Flight Aviation Art Exhibition and Competition. The juried aviation art show will be held at CAE SimuFlite's Dallas/Fort Worth facility from January 30 through April 28, 2006, as will be open to the general public.

A 9th Circuit Federal Appeals Court panel is considering a case over a 2002 city ban on aerial banner advertising, after an anti-abortion group questioned the legitimacy of such a ban under the group's First Amendment rights.
