The FAA has suspended flying priveleges for Daniel Wayne Davis
of Heartland Aviations, LLC for 90 days. The FAA report says Davis
allegedly aimed the tail of an airplane at a hanger used by
Ada Aircraft Painting, LLC, set the brakes, and ran up the
engine.
The Association for Women in Aviation Maintenance has unveiled
its list of available scholarships for next year, which includes a
dozen programs sponsored by some of the leading names in aviation.
While the programs are open only to AWAM members, they are not
restricted to students, or even to women.
Next Weekend To The Bahamas Slated For Thursday, October 29
through Sunday, November 1
Bahamas Habitat said Monday that it's not too late to join in
the upcoming "Fly-In & Help Out" weekend to Eleuthera in the
Bahamas scheduled for Thursday, October 29th through Sunday,
November 1st. The organization is extending an open
invitation to all interested aircraft owners and pilots to join in
this mission.
Airports Council International - North America's (ACI-NA)
Commissioners Committee accepted the Scholarship Review Committee's
recommendation to award scholarships of $2,500 each to three
aviation students, at the ACI-NA Commissioners Committee meeting in
Austin, Texas over the weekend.
