Paper: Many Employees Out Of Work, Owed Money

A once-ambitious New Zealand planemaker has fallen on tough times. Hamilton-based Alpha Aviation entered liquidation proceedings this week, leaving many of its 70 workers without a job, and owed a week's wages.

Former CJ Production Manager Will Oversee Cessna 350, 400 Plant

Cessna Aircraft Company has named Mark Withrow to be general manager of its new Bend, OR facility, effective February 4. Withrow will be based in Bend and report to Rod Holter, Cessna vice president, single-engine operations and general manager of Cessna's Independence, KS facility.
