A ferry pilot taking a new Cirrus SR22 across the Atlantic from
Goose Bay, Newfoundland, Canada to Ireland on Friday got into some
serious trouble when he noticed, far beyond the point where he
could turn back, that he was losing fuel.

It appears that law enforcement authorities are beginning to
take serious action against people suspected of shining lasers at
aircraft flying at night.
We made some changes this year in the manner in which we name
the most notable aircraft of the year. Normally announced at
