Insurer Lives To See Tomorrow... But ILFC Likely On Auction

In a move that, until two weeks ago, would have been termed
"unprecedented," late Tuesday the US Federal Reserve agreed to loan
embattled global insurance and investment firm AIG a total of $85
billion, in exchange for an 80 percent stake in the 89-year old
Wall Street stalwart.
The site is dedicated to the men and women of the Battle of
Britain. If these pilots, crew, fitters, ferry pilots, cooks, and
all concerned with Fighter Command had not succeeded in thwarting
the Luftwaffe, who knows what the world would be like now.
A fundamental particle supposedly produced in massive numbers by
the nuclear reactions in stars; they are very hard to detect
because the vast majority of them pass completely through the Earth
without interacting.
"None of us can yet answer the question, 'Where do we
go from here?' "This experience has not been a healthy one for the
Air Force, or for the (Department of Defense) or for the
contractors or for our working relationship with each other or
Congress."
