collectible item of aviation memorabilia. This site is
committed to the exchange of information about wooden aircraft
propellers in general, with emphasis on WWI and earlier antique

A huge cloud of hot plasma, expelled sometimes from the Sun. It
may accelerate ions and electrons, and may travel through
interplanetary space as far as the Earth's orbit and beyond it,
often preceded by a shock front. When the shock reaches Earth, a

NATO E-3A Sentinel, from the Turkish Air Force. The Sentinel
and its crew arrived at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base, N.C., Aug.
8th to conduct training missions with 4th Fighter Wing aircrews.
The Sentinel, which is an Airborne Early Warning and Control System
aircraft from Geilenkirchen, Germany, will conduct mock dogfights
between the wing's fighter aircraft. Using its trademark 30-foot
exterior satellite, the AWACS aircraft will provide Strike Eagle
aircrews with "enemy" positions.
