British auction house Bonhams will sell one of the last four
remaining Sea Hurricane airplanes in existence. The 1941 Hawker Sea
Hurricane XII will be offered for sale without reserve at Bonhams'
annual Goodwood Revival auction on September 19, where it is
expected to fetch between $55,000 - $93,000.
Rearwin Airplanes was founded by Raymond Andrew ("Rae") Rearwin
in 1928. Following Charles Lindbergh's historic transatlantic
flight in 1927, the world's fascination with aviation grew
significantly.

German court administering the bankruptcy of aircraft-engine
manufacturer Thielert AG to the seven-member creditor committee.
The committee, made up of major creditors, will help the court
direct the outcome of the Thielert insolvency.
