Source: Shea Oakley, executive director of the Teterboro-based New Jersey Aviation Hall of Fame and Museum. Spann -- one of nearly 1,000 black men who graduated from the Tuskegee Army Air Field in Tuskegee, AL, between 1942 and 1946 --  was recently inducted into the museum's hall of fame.
