After 65 years -- including 50 years spent buried deep below the
surface of a Greenland glacier -- the recovered and fully restored
Lockheed P-38 now known as Glacier Girl is on her way to completing
her interrupted World War II mission: Operation Bolero.
The mission of the Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence (SETI)
Institute is to explore, understand and explain the origin, nature
and prevalence of life in the universe.
"We've had record load factors for the past three
years. That means our planes have been fuller than they've ever
been. And this fact, combined with the new security requirements
that limit gels and liquids people can take on a plane have meant
we're carrying much more luggage than we have in the
past."

Effective July 15, passengers hoping to bring their pets with them
on domestic Air Canada flights will have to send the animals on the
carrier's AC Live Product cargo service instead, to make room for
luggage on passenger-carrying flights.
