and verify what went wrong. I write, verify, because he called on
the radio twice and said what was wrong. At the time we were at
11,000 feet. He said that he had lost his wing and was falling.

two pilots taking part in the South Africa Freedom Flight, after
his partner, 34-year old Mike Honeyborne, was killed in China last
week. His Aerotrike apparently lost a wing at 11,000 feet and
plunged into a lake near the village of Milou. Honeyborne's remains
will be cremated this week, upon the arrival of his mother,
Jocelyn, from Capetown.
