The Aerospace Medical Association is an umbrella group providing a
forum for many different disciplines to come together and share
their expertise, including Federal and international agencies, on a
broad range of issues including aviation and space medical
standards, the aging pilot, and physiological stresses of
flight.
"It was not something that was brought up before the
commission in a timely manner. This was just foisted on us as if
there was some agenda that they were going to do this come hell or
high water."

Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association -- may soon see rate hikes
and landing fees as part of the city's next budget, as Airport
Manager Charles Abell sees an opportunity to extract revenue from
pilots of transient aircraft -- which make up 18 percent of
Frederick's traffic.
