The primary purpose of The F-14 Tomcat Association is to maintain contact among the members of the Tomcat community, keep members informed of developments in Naval Aviation, provide support to museums where F-14s are on display, and sponsor annual reunions of the F-14 family. Membership is open to anyone who has flown, worked on, or just plain love the F-14 aircraft.

A large planet composed mainly of hydrogen and helium, together with some methane, ammonia, and other light substances, but with a substantial metal-rock core around which the lighter materials that form the bulk of the object have accreted. Most of the extrasolar planets discovered so far appear to be gas giants, though this is a selection effect stemming from the fact that current detection methods are heavily biased toward finding massive planets.

A reduction in the number of expected deliveries in 2009 plus an excess of used aircraft on the market have combined to make tough times for the planemaker, spurring last week's announcement of the planned elimination of 3,000 more jobs by the end of this year, in addition to 1,360 positions cut in February.
