To know if you can log simulator time, you need to know the
certification level of the device. Whether you can log it or not,
however, time spent in flight simulation will make you a safer and
more confident pilot.
In this day of technology, who wants to carry around a paper
logbook (well, I do but that’s beside the point). Even if you
want to keep the old paper one on the shelf, having a back-up
electronically is a smart thing to do.
Decision Height -- With respect to the operation of
aircraft, means the height at which a decision must be made, during
an ILS or PAR instrument approach, to either continue the approach
or to execute a missed approach. Being replaced by Decision
Altitude.
