Pennsylvania Senator Rick Santorum has introduced a bill to
prevent the National Weather Service and the National Oceanic and
Atmospheric Administration from providing information that is
available from a commercial vendor.
Albert "Gus" Wing III, 55, died Saturday after being struck by
the jump plane in Deland, FL. Wing and the plane, a DHC-6 Twin
Otter were both descending over the airport when they collided.
The Georgia Aviation Hall of Fame inducted four new members
Saturday evening at the Museum of Aviation's Century of Flight
hangar. Aldine "Al" Patton, Thomas "Pre" Ball, Hollis Harris and
Robert Sprayberry are the new members inducted to the Hall of Fame
in this year's banquet.
