Philadelphia International Airport, speaking on January 15th to
colleagues in New York, after authorities say a drunken pilot blew
through controlled airspace on a meandering, sometimes harrowing
joyride. Despite the creation of a cabinet-level Homeland Security
Department, despite the ongoing vigilance at airports around the
country, the pilot was able to meander about Philadelphia's
controlled airspace for almost four hours before finally deciding
to land. In the process, a half-dozen flights were diverted from
his path and authorities say he almost collided with police
