"We are determined to claim compensation. We've been badly hurt by this delay. After the first delay, we had the option of cancelling the deal, but we didn't -- maybe because the results would have been worse."

Source: Emirates CEO Sheik Ahmad bin Saeed Al Maktoum, on the airline's plan to seek an unspecified amount of additional compensation due to continued delays surrounding the Airbus A380 superjumbo. Emirates has 45 of the mammoth airliners on order.
