Filed
Means the aircraft is cleared to proceed in accordance with the
route of flight filed in the flight plan. This clearance does not
include the altitude, DP, or DP Transition.
One of the technological innovations discussed as being
available for GA Aircraft, and which wil be required for all
aircraft in certain airspace in 11 years, is ADS-B, or Automatic
Dependent, Surveillance Broadcast. It will allow pilots to have
accruate traffic information in the cockpit.
