Here's a question I was asked on my most recent Flight Review:
At a tower-controlled airport, the airport beacon is running during
the day. What does this mean?
Sustained human powered flight, a $95,000 Kremer prize was the
incentive to achieve the goal. The Gossamer Condor was designed by
Dr. Paul MacCready and Dr. Peter Lissamen and powered by cyclist
Bryan Allen.
"It is always our responsibility to maintain the separations.
In this case, when you don't know the altitude, it is very
dangerous. I would have preferred to move them laterally, but it is
always our responsibility to keep them separated."
