The staff of ANN has looked into our crystal balls, and brushed
up on our tarot-reading techniques, to determine our best guesses
to what we consider the 10 Unanswered Questions of 2007, as we face
the new year. Hopefully, the new year will bring some much-needed
answers...
While we see another year off, ANN would like to use this space
to pay tribute to those in aerospace and aviation who will not be
among us as we welcome in the New Year.
As most of you will know, the Lockheed L-1049 Super Constellation
has become an almost extinct species in today's skies that are
flocked by Boeings and Airbuses.
"I think right now the demand for the capability that
the unmanned system provides is only increasing. Even as the surge
ends, I suspect the deployment of the unmanned systems will not go
down, particularly for larger systems."
