Aero-Terms!

The vertical alignment of the wings of a biplane in which the lower wing is ahead of the upper wing. Most biplanes have a positive stagger, in which the top wing is located ahead of the bottom wing. The Beech Model 17 is a well-known example of a negative stagger biplane.
