Hersman Says They Will "Prevent Accidents And Save Lives"
In a letter to the Secretary of Health and Human Services
Kathleen Selibus, NTSB Chair Debora Hersman has offered four
recommendations for the providers of medical helicopter
services. The recommendations follow the investigations of
recent accidents, which reached record numbers in 2008.
NBAA, Other Industry Groups Will Work To Repair Tarnished

NBAA President and CEO Ed Bolen says the current public image of
Business Aviation is its biggest hurdle, and that he and other
industry group leaders are working hard to repair that image. Bolen
said the image problem makes it much more difficult to work on
other issues important to Business Aviation.
New Jersey State Troopers were not expecting a helicopter
belonging to New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg to arrive at Giants
Stadium before Thursday's U2 concert, and yet, there it was landing
in a shuttle bus parking lot.
