Curtiss-Wright Controls Awarded Contract By Eclipse Aerospace

Will Provide Aircraft Computer System (ACS) For Eclipse 550 Aircraft Program

Curtiss-Wright Controls, Inc. has received a contract from Eclipse Aerospace, Inc. to supply the Aircraft Computer System (ACS) for use on the new Eclipse 550 aircraft. Under the agreement, the Curtiss-Wright Controls Avionics & Electronics (CWC-AE) division will supply Eclipse with its ACS product which will provide the ability to continuously monitor and control aircraft systems such as flaps, landing gear, climate control, fuel management, autopilot and flight envelope protection.

UTC Aerospace Working With Sikorsky On New Flight Controls

UTC Aerospace Systems is working with Sikorsky Aircraft to drive advancements in rotorcraft technology as part of Sikorsky's self-funded Matrix Technology autonomy research and development program. With Matrix Technology, Sikorsky aims to significantly improve the capability, safety and reliability of vertical take-off and landing aircraft.
