Bavarian Interior Ministry Orders Eight EC135s

Slated For Delivery To Police In 2009-2010

On August 27, the Bavarian Ministry of the Interior announced its decision to purchase eight new Eurocopter EC135 P2i helicopters for the Bavarian Police Helicopter Squadron. Fitted out with state-of-the-art police equipment, the EC135s are slated for delivery between September 2009 and April 2010.

AMTSociety Maintenance Skills Competition Showcases the Best of the Best

The AMTSociety hosted a unique competition last spring during the Aircraft Maintenance Summit at the annual Aviation Industry Expo. Dedicated to aircraft maintenance professionals, the AMTSociety Maintenance Skills Competition gives aircraft maintenance technicians, both licensed and student A&P mechanics, and
U.S. military personnel involved in the aircraft maintenance field, the opportunity to test their combined and individual abilities against their peers. The competition featured both team and individual events.
