Moab King Air Crash Claims 10 Lives

NTSB Sends Team To Investigate Plane Crash Near Moab, Utah

A tragic accident, reportedly occurring during departure, has brought down a King Air 100 and killed all 10 persons on board.The Beech King Air A-100 (file photo below) is reported to have impacted the ground close to the runway shortly after departure, Friday evening, from the Canyonlands Field airport, approximately 18 miles northwest of Moab. The aircraft impacted among nearby hills, where it was said to have burned on impact.
