One month ahead of schedule, the first Citation Mustang
production aircraft (serial number 0001) took to the air Monday,
Aug. 29th. The Mustang flew exactly two hours, performing basic
systems and avionics checks...
Bombardier Tuesday said it's delivered into service the 150th
Global aircraft. The Bombardier Global 5000 business jet was
delivered on August 26 to Dwight Management of St Paul, Minnesota.
It was the third Bombardier Global 5000 aircraft to be delivered
into service.
Hurricane Katrina has, of course, visited death and misery on
the Gulf Coast, flooding more than 80-percent of New Orleans -- and
the water is still rising. There are power outages, looters and
evacuations. Only far away, in places like Washington, DC, are
there thoughts of life beyond the immediate struggle for
survival.
