Greenjets has repackaged the private jet into a more affordable
consumer unit – the seat rather than the entire jet. The
company says this is unprecedented in the business aviation
industry.
DART Helicopter Services says that their subsidiary Apical
Industries has received FAA approval of the EC145 Tri-Bag Emergency
Float Systems with or without liferafts. Transport Canada and
EASA approvals are pending
AgustaWestland announced Thursday at the Airborne Law
Enforcement Association's Annual Conference that the Los Angeles
Fire Department (LAFD) has signed for a third AW139 medium-twin
helicopter. This aircraft will join the two AW139s already in
service performing critical aerial fire-fighting, medevac and
search and rescue missions in Los Angeles and the surrounding
communities.
