Sino Swearingen Aircraft Corporation (SSAC) announced Monday
that it has successfully completed water ingestion high speed
testing of the new SJ30-2 twinjet aircraft.
A Hawker 400XP recently performed the inaugural landing at
London City Airport as part of Raytheon Aircraft Company's (RAC)
development program to certify the aircraft for flight into London
City's infamous Airport.
As Congress returns from its July 4 recess, lawmakers will renew
consideration of a highway spending bill that mostly addresses
roadway improvements, but also contains two burdensome proposals
for the business aviation community.
Given the rash of high-profile air charter accidents recently,
the National Air Transportation Association (NATA) has taken
proactive steps to assist air charter operators improve safety.
