What a cool week! You really have to admire a company that says what they're going to do and then follows through. That's exactly what happened with Eclipse Aerospace, as Mason Holland took the stage during the first International Eclipse Dealer and Sales Conference held this past Friday in Albuquerque and announced the official launch of initial production of the new model Eclipse 550 twin-engine jet. Luxury Hangars Going Up At Southern California Airport

32 Units Planned At Cochran Regional Airport

San Diego developer Karl Higgins is betting $10 million on well-heeled aviators' interest in a luxury hangar for their aircraft. Higgins is planning 32 hangars to be built at Jacqueline Cochran Regional Airport in Thermal, CA. The project is scheduled to begin by the end of the year, and will be accomplished in phases over the next three years on a 4.5 acre site.

Regional Group Opposes Long Island Helicopter Routing

The Eastern Region Helicopter Council is asking residents of New York's Long Island to oppose a new FAA regulation establishing a mandatory North Shore route for helicopters.
