Honeywell-Operated Gulfstream G-450 Departed Friday To Paris

Biofuels are definitely going to be at the forefront of the
Paris Air Show. The same day Boeing announced that it was flying
its 747-8 to Le Bourget on a 15% biofuel blend, Honeywell announced
that it would fly its G-450 to the show on a 50/50 blend
of traditional jet fuel and camelina-based fuel.
The U.S. Department of the Interior has issued a Safety Alert
for its pilots following an incident in which an aircraft
experienced a Loss of Tail Rotor Effectiveness (LTE).
