Sikorsky S-76D Helicopter Achieves Certification In Mexico

Six Aircraft Already In The Pipeline For A Mexican Offshore Transportation Provider

The government of Mexico's civil aviation authority, the Dirección General de Aeronáutica Civil (DGAC), has awarded Type Certification to Sikorsky for its S-76D helicopter. The FAA awarded Type Certification of the S-76D model in October 2012, and the helicopter continues its envelope expansion as the first models move through final modifications for customer deliveries in 2013.

Will Service Both The 500 And 550 Aircraft

Eclipse Aerospace has named Crownair Aviation in San Diego, CA as an EAI authorized Gold Service Center for both the Eclipse 500 and Eclipse 550 jets. Under this agreement, Crownair Aviation will provide maintenance, inspections, parts and warranty support, as well as AOG services for Eclipse Jet aircraft.

ANN has learned that one of the ridiculous messes created by Washington's inability to prove that it has ANY abilities, namely in terms of governing, has come to an end as the FAA and DoT have caved in and relented on their tower closure fiasco. EAA has traditionally held its membership meeting on the final Saturday of AirVenture, but that will be changing this year and its a change that ANN feels very positive about. The meeting will be held mid-week this year, according to EAA Chairman Jack Pelton. Members will get together on Wednesday, July 31st at 8:30 AM. AirVenture is the organization’s annual convention. First Production Aircraft To Be On Display In Geneva

Just one year after launching the Learjet 70 and Learjet 75 aircraft, Bombardier is returning to this year’s edition of EBACE with the first production Learjet 75 jet. Alongside the debutante, the Challenger 300, Challenger 605 and Global 6000 aircraft will all be on display from May 21 – May 23, 2013 in Geneva, Switzerland at the 13th European Business Aviation Conference and Exhibition.
