On April 8th through April 10th, in Orlando, Florida, hundreds attended the 53rd Annual AEA International Convention & Trade Show; founded in 1957, the Aircraft Electronics Association (AEA) represents more than 1,300 industry affiliates associated with the general aviation avionics and electronics systems.  During the tumultuous week, Mid-Continent's MD835 Emergency Power Supply was introduced, having recently received TSO certification from the FAA. Rigorous RTCA DO-160 environmental testing and DO-311 testing for Rechargeable Lithium Systems was conducted to receive TSO approval.
