First Of Two AW101 VVIP Helicopters Delivered To Turkmenistan

Contract Was Signed At Farnborough International Air Show In 2010

AgustaWestland has delivered the first of AW101 VVIP helicopter to Turkmenistan Airlines. The contract for the two aircraft was signed at the 2010 Farnborough International Air Show. Assembly of the aircraft took place at AgustaWestland’s Yeovil facility in South West England. AgustaWestland has also provided pilot and maintainer training and an initial spares package under the contract.

Other RR Helicopter Engines Not Affected By The Transaction

Rolls-Royce has reached an agreement to sell its shareholding and interest in the RTM322 helicopter engine program to Turbomeca (a Safran company). Rolls-Royce's 50 per cent interest in the engine program will be progressively transferred to Turbomeca, which will then hold 100 per cent of the RTM322 program.
