Dual Garmin G600, RVSM For Citation 501/551 Added To STC

Plus Pending STC For G600 RVSM For Bendix Equipped Citation 500s

JETTECH unveiled two new initiatives for equipping Legacy Citations with new Garmin G600 “Glass Panel” EFIS instrumentation at the AEA convention Wednesday. The first initiative is an amendment to their existing STC which will allow a dual Garmin G600 with RVSM installation for single pilot (SP) Citation 501 and 551 aircraft.

Also Takes Top Honors For Large Chain FBO

Million Air was announced as Pro Pilot’s 2012 number one large chain Fixed Base Operation (FBO). The survey also ranked Million Air Dallas as the number 4, Million Air Houston as the number 6, and Million Air Salt Lake City as the number 19 FBO out of the 35 United States FBOs that were ranked. A minimum of 45 votes from Pro Pilot subscribers was the threshold for ranking in the top U.S. FBOs.

New Fixed Wing Digital Audio Panel Optimized For Fixed-Wing Aircraft

A new fixed wing digital audio panel for the Digital Audio and Intercom System DVCS6100 was unveiled at NBAA 2011 by Becker Avionics. The new panel variant of the Audio Control Unit (ACU) 6100 is specifically tailored for fixed-wing applications. The new fixed-wing ACU6100 comes in a horizontal and vertical format to ease retrofit installations. The new fixed-wing audio control panel is similar to the standard ACU6100, but includes oxygen mic switching, marker beacon mute and other functions.
