Pima County Will Install Audio Panel In New Multi-Mission Helo
The Pima County Sheriffs Department (PCSD) of Tucson, Arizona has selected Becker Avionics' DVCS6100 digital airborne audio control panel system for its new AS350 B3e multi-mission helicopter. The aircraft was delivered in mid-March during a ceremony at American Eurocopter’s Grand Prairie TX Delivery Center.
Three People Were Fatally Injured In August, 2010 Accident
In its probable cause report for an August, 2010 helicopter accident which fatally injured three people, the NTSB found the accident was most likely caused by a metal clipboard striking the helicopter's tail rotor, though how that happened was not evidently clear.
