recruit more than 300 engineers to meet growing demand for the
company's military and civil helicopter product lines and related
services.
Recognizes 64 Member Shops For Training Commitment
The Aircraft Electronics Association announced the recipients of
the annual Avionics Training Excellence award during the Opening
Ceremony last week of the 49th annual AEA International Convention
& Trade Show. The Avionics Training Excellence award recognizes
AEA members for their total commitment to training as evidenced by
participation in AEA–approved training.
$100,000 Given At Convention; AOPA Named New Sponsor Of
Program
The Aircraft Electronics Association announced the names of 26
students who were awarded $100,000 in scholarships for the
2006/2007 school year during the Opening Ceremonies of the 49th
annual AEA International Convention & Trade Show, held in Palm
Springs, CA last week.

On Monday, DayJet announced that business travelers in the
Southeastern United Sates -- Alabama, Florida, Georgia,
Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee -- will
be the nation's first to benefit from "Per-Seat, On-Demand" jet
service when it takes flight later this year.
