Eclipse Receives Production Certificate For EA550 Final Assembly

Deliveries Planned For Third Quarter Of 2013

Eclipse Aerospace, Inc. (EAI) received today from the FAA an amended Production Certificate authorizing the final assembly, test, and certification of the new production Eclipse 550 Twin-Engine Jet. In order to earn this amended Production Certificate, EAI demonstrated all assembly, quality, inspection, and flight verification processes required by the FAA.

Network control solutions provider Exinda announced Tuesday that Satcom Direct, a developer of satellite communications solutions for corporate and military aircraft, has selected the Exinda Mobile platform to be integrated into its first hardware product, the Satcom Direct Router (SDR). Acting as a Wi-Fi access point on an airplane, the SDR will utilize the Exinda Mobile platform to improve the consistency and response time of Internet applications.

Additional STC's Granted To Latitude For SkyNode Satcom, IONode FDM System

Certificate Covers More Than 800 Part 23 Aircraft

The FAA has granted additional STCs to Latitude Technologies (Latitude) for the SkyNode S100 flight following and flight date transceiver for installation in more than 800 Part 23 category aircraft.  Latitude has also recently received FAA approval of the SkyNode S100 including the IONode Flight Data Monitoring system for light helicopters including Bell 206/407 and Eurocopter Aerospatiale 250/355 types.
