Raytheon Aircraft Certifies Hawker 850XP

Raytheon Aircraft has certified the newest aircraft in the Hawker family, the Hawker 850XP. With Raytheon Aircraft designed winglets, the aircraft is the next evolution of the highly successful Hawker 800-series. It is part of a strategically planned sequence of upgrades for the Hawker fleet of airplanes that began with the Hawker 400XP in May of 2003.

Mercury Computer Systems, Inc. has released VistaNav version 1.5, its multi-function flight display system with synthetic vision technology. This latest release of the VistaNav system integrates XM satellite weather information including NEXRAD Precipitation and Cloud information, Live TFRs, METAR Flight Rules Indicators (FRI), as well as detailed METAR and TAF text information.

Dallas Airmotive's (DAI) Lafayette, Louisiana facility is being designated as a key support arm for component repair and exchange. Investments in new technology and equipment will enable the facility to expand its support to additional rotor wing engines and also adding fixed wing engine types.
