Avemco Insurance Company, the only direct writer of general
aviation insurance in the US, has expanded its successful Renter
(non-owned) insurance program to include pilots who rent
multi-engine airplanes.
Scott Neal, the pilot of a Lifeguard helicopter operated under
the auspices of the University of New Mexico Hospitals, survived a
crash in northern New Mexico Saturday night, shaken up but not
seriously hurt.

A Cessna Caravan went down on landing at the Helsinki Vanta
Airport area Monday evening, injuring the pilot, according to
authorities. The airport's emergency response team reported only
the pilot, who was the only person on board at the time, was
injured.
